The tango is a hot, sultry dance full of strutting proud men and softly flowing ladies. While it keeps many components of the other dances, it has its own movements which set it apart from the other dances. These are fast turns and jerky arms and leg movements most people are familiar with. When dancing tango dance steps, it ought to be mentioned a proud, strong and silently dignified expression and bearing is a trademark of the accomplished tango dancer.
And the dance tells the tale of sensually charged feelings between man and woman. While it has many similarities to other ballroom dances, the particular movements of the tango are different. There are just some of the flowing movements, when both dancers follow each other’s movement, but there also are fast jerky head changes from side to side as if the dancers are slapping one another with stiff upper bodies.
Higher body movements are structured and refined with pointing hands and stiff heads. The majority of the time the higher body doesn’t move while the legs perform a mad routine of their own. Then the upper body becomes liquid, both dancers entwine as the female and male elements get involved in their own conversation.
The modern tango danced today is a much clean upd version of the original. A lot of the original, keen emotion which first filled the dance was lost. There are no longer the lust-filled gawks and ladies draped provocatively across the men.
Lots of its advocates enjoying the pulsing rhythm and variation in pace.Man and girl partners work round the dance floor in a typically counterclockwise way.First the person is dominant and demanding and then the lady is convincing and cajoling.Feet are kicked out to the sides as the two folk disagree in their dance. Then make up, only to argue once again. This represents the more argumentative segments of the dance as the two protagonists continually clash and then ingratiate themselves to each other.

Having lost count of the quantity of people who have asked me : have you gone digital? I am always left considering why it’s such a much-asked query.
The camera is only a tool in which a snapper creates an image. His private capacity to form a totally unique image is the same.
For many kinds of photography, digital has long held clear benefits, except for landscapes the resolution important to make bigger prints just was not available. But things have changed and digicams are fast turning into the tools that most pros use. But are they able to actually match the big format film cameras?
This is the best question that all photographers face. Instant LCD feedback is digitals best present and this enables the paparazzo to check exposure and composition of their image in the blinking of an eye. While this is a giant advantage, the hours spent in front of the PC processing the raw footage must be a hindrance.
A landscape photographers time is best spent behind a camera not in front of a P. C. The good points and bad points of digital photography will remain a difficulty for some considerable time. At the end of the day a digicam will not make a photographers photographs better.
The same values we apply in our photography should stay without regard for which camera we use. Good photography remains as evasive and as appealing as it ever has been, going digital doesn’t change this or make getting good photographs any more straightforward. It brings technical benefits, and masses of them, but the majority of photographic methodologies never change.
Good landscape photographs come from the snapper’s private capacity, not the capability of a camera. The camera helps, but the creative eye remains the same.
There are some straightforward reasons that I continue to use a film camera : The authenticity of my photographs may be questioned if I used a digicam. It is generally assumed that great digital footage have been manipulated. Too much time is spent in front of a PC. Slide film produce stronger colours than a digicam. There are several advantages for changing to digital but I’m going to stay with film, for the time-being that is. With time, film cameras will be a thing of the past and all our images will be exchanged for the pixels.
However be careful.

Taking great portraits is as much about social skills as it is about technical capacity. If you can first see thru your subject’s eyes, and understand them as a unique individual, and then display and intensify their best qualities, this willtruly make your portraits stand out.
Here are some of the best tips :
If employing a tripod, compose your portrait and then take one step only to the side and forward from the camera. Do not look thru the viewfinder. When your subject interacts with your camera, the result could be a cold or dead rendering, but when you engage your subject thru eye contact, expression, gestures and words, the result may be a warm and candid reflection, charged with mood or emotion.
If you are not employing a tripod, you need to redouble your effort to maintain repeated interactions with your subject.
Permit your subject to be themselves. A girl dressed up in fairy wings for a special picture is really lovable, and I believe there’s a place in this world for adorable. However contrast this with the young girl who just likes to dance. You put her in her everyday threads, stand her in front of a plain background, put on her fave music and say to her,’can you show me a way to dance to this song?’ you should have no problem in capturing continual expressions there.
Allow your subject’s expression to be honest. A scowl or a scowl that’s really felt can be more interesting than a grin that is forced. I try to never just pose my subject and then say,’Okay, now grin for me.’ if you would like your subject to smile then tell a joke, put on a face, or maybe simply grin at her and she’ll smile back at you.
If you are a professional, you know that grins sell, but if you are a newbie, you are under no pressure to sell, so make your portraits engaging. Not everything in the world is to grin about.
Direct your portraits. Gain control of the composition of your portraits! Don’t be scared to tell or show your subject what you want. Occasionally showing is best. I often find that basically demonstrating a pose I am considering, works better than making an effort to direct my subject through words alone. If you’re snapping a group, your life will be more easy, if you prepare and pose the adults first.
Social talents are a prerequisite if you would like to take great portraits!

USC has won their big game against Ohio State twice in back to back years. Its the next game they have problems with. This year, it was the Washington Huskies who pulled the upset. The Huskies defense shut down the powerful Trojans offense, and Erik Folk kicked a 22 yard field goal with 3 seconds remaining to give Washington a 16-13 victory in Seattle. USC has now lost to an unranked team in each of the past four seasons.
College football betting enthusiasts who took the Huskies as a whopping +19 home underdog were rewarded with the outright victory. The pointspread triumph also went against Washington’s dismal ATS form in recent years”the Huskies were 8-19 ATS overall and 3-15 ATS in Pac 10 games over the past three seasons.
USC was undone by a rare display of undisciplined play, and coach Pete Carroll had nothing good to say after the game:
“We didn’t get any better from last week. I’m not doing a good enough job of making the points of how we win. We didn’t throw the ball very well today. It was obvious. We couldn’t get the ball down the field very much. We’ve rarely been in that situation.”
The Trojans played without QB Matt Barkley, who engineered the game winning drive against Ohio State last week. Barkley is nursing a sore shoulder, and his status is game to game. His backup, Aaron Corp, was held to 111 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. He gave this glum assessment of his performance:
“I felt I was prepared. I just didn’t execute.
After the contest running back Joe McNight, who ran for 100 yards and scored the Trojans only touchdown, observed that superior talent can be negated by a poor effort:
“Washington wasn’t the better team. They just outplayed us. Clearly, we have superior athletes. But hard work beats athleticism any day.”
The Huskies are trying to clean up the mess left by Tyrone Willingham, and this was a step in the right direction for the program. Off of the Pac 10s first 0-12 season a year ago, the team is now under the mentorship of former BYU QB and USC offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian who was elated with the victory:
“It’s unbelievable. It’s a great moment for our program and hopefully sends a message of where we’re headed.”
Washington running back Jake Locker was in a state of near disbelief:
“I can’t really describe it. It’s an amazing feeling to go through what all of us have gone through and to experience what everyone wants to experience when they play college football.”
USC will try to get back on the winning track at home against Washington State next week. Theyll then head up to Northern California for a tough rivalry game against the University of California on October 3rd. Washington will play at Stanford next weekend. Theyll head to South Bend, Indiana for a game against Notre Dame the following week.

The Salsa was brought to the world by Spanish talking people from the Caribbean. The music consisted of African drums and Spanish guitars. There are a number of locations that are famous for their own unique styles of Salsa : Cuba, Long Island, LA, Puerto Rico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic.
The Salsa is a great dance style, and one that can be learned by nearly any one. You might imagine, “I’m too ancient to learn to Salsa. Choosing somewhere to go for a mini break seems to get harder every time. Is seems to always be a case of ’so many places, so little time. The choice now is staggering, and unfortunately, there will never be enough time or money to visit everywhere.
I think of myself as very lucky indeed to have been able to visit many great places in our country, and would like to share some of my experiences with you.
Let’s start off in Nashville. As I’m lucky enough to have a good friend who lives there, I’ve taken quite a few trips there and always have a fantastic time.
The Nashville culture is fascinating, with the Grand Ole Opry being a major attraction, where you can enjoy the best of Country Music. If you are food lover, you are literally spoilt for choice in Nashville, there are numerous restaurants serving just about every kind of food there is.
There are two cites situated in the North Eastern part of our country, both Providence and Newport are lovely cities that have much to offer the tourist. Don’t be fooled by the fact that Rhode Island is the smallest state; it has plenty of things to do and see.
These two cities sit easily in different categories. Providence is not a large city by any means, but is extremely picturesque and has a fascinating history. 30 minutes away is the bustling resort of Newport, very much geared towards the summer visitor and offering great restaurants and beaches.
Last but far from least, is the stunning city of New Orleans. Set way down south with the French influence evident in both its architecture and Cajun cuisine, a trip to this fabulous and vibrant city is a must if you can manage it.
I hope this has helped in some way to make your decision easier, wherever you decide to go, travel safely and have a great time.
